Meet the Reviewers

Ashley Mackler-Paternostro

Ashley Mackler-Paternostro was born in Naperville, Illinois, where she still lives with her husband Mark and their three dogs.

“I often say I left my heart in Seattle and that’s true. Yes, I live in the middle of the Midwest, but if you’ve ever read one of my books, you know I’m a Pacific Northwestern girl at heart.”

Ashley considers herself a bit of magpie, picking up parts of her stories from everyday experiences and observations. This coincides peacefully with her life long love affair with novels, and what she describes as an “insatiable appetite for good books.” She decided to merge her love of great stories — both told and written — into her own brand of story telling.

Ashley’s novels include The Milestone Tapes, the best-selling novel In The After (currently unavailable for purchase) and The Winter Song, a short story featured in the charity collection Holiday Wishes.  She is represented by Carly Watters of The P.S Literary Agency.

Book Formats Ashley will accept:

  • Amazon gifted books
  • Paperback books sent to her P.O Box

What Ashley Is Looking For:

Liz Grace Davis

I was born in a refugee camp in Angola (to Namibian parents), where I spent the first eight years of my life. Since then, I’ve lived in Namibia, South Africa and Germany. Now I’m settled  in Vienna, Austria, with my husband and daughter.

Traveling has offered me the opportunity to gather useful material, from both my own experiences and those of others. I am a firm believer in the fact that memories, both good and bad, are worth cherishing. The roads we’ve traveled in the past lead us to the people we are today.

As a result, I enjoy breathing new life into some of those experiences, and sprinkling them with snippets born of my own imagination, to write fiction novels. My aim as a writer is to both thrill and inspire readers.”

12 more random things about me:

  1. I studied international business consultancy and am now studying towards my master’s degree in International Management.
  2. I eat too much salt. I know I should stop. I promise I will. Maybe tomorrow.
  3. I speak four and a half languages :-).
  4. I wrote my first full novel at 18. The manuscript is in a box somewhere.
  5. I can eat potato crisps in the morning and call it breakfast.
  6. I don’t like Chocolate, even if one of my published novels is centered around it.
  7. I love country music.
  8. I’m addicted to cherries and watermelon. It IS an addiction, believe me.
